Tumble testing

What is Tumble Testing?

Tumble testing involves repeatedly dropping an object inside a tumble tester to test its resistance and durability. It is implemented to evaluate the product’s ability to get through breakage, bumps, and scrapes. The test dwells by placing a product into the Tumble tester, then It’s programmed to test the product’s durability by the number of drops, the height of the drop, and the intensity of speed in a controlled environment.

Why is the tumble test important?

It is essential to evaluate and identify physical damage such as breakage, scrapes, scuff, and chipped paints so that they can determine the product’s information in terms of its reliability and resistance to wear. Identifying possible flaws in its design will be beneficial for the manufacturer to give them insights on how to improve the product’s durability.
